As we approach Zero Waste Day (30 March 2026) — a global moment to reflect on how we consume and waste — here’s something worth thinking about: "Food loss and waste represent a major climate and environmental threat. They account for up to 10% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, nearly five times the emissions from the aviation sector, and up to 14 per cent of global methane emissions. Tackling food waste is among the most cost-effective and readily achievable climate solutions, aligned with zero-waste approaches that prioritize prevention, resource efficiency and systemic change" - UNEP.

Big problem. But also a clear opportunity.

Because change doesn’t start once a year.It starts with the choices we make every day.

🎥 Your Mission:

1. Create a Reel under ONE of these categories:

   1. Best Date Night Under HK$100

   2. Best Office Meal for 2 Under HK$100

   3. Best Student Budget Meal for Under HK$100 a day

2. Post your Reel showcasing what you rescued from Yindii

3. Invite @Yindii_hk as a collaborator

   ***Your post must include:

   - What you rescued + store/restaurant name

   - Discounted price vs. original price

Show us what you rescued on Yindii — and how you made it your own.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Prize Terms (Flight Ticket)

   1. The flight ticket prize is subject to a maximum value of HKD 1,500. Any additional costs exceeding this amount shall be borne by the winner.Yindii reserves the right to determine the booking details, including airline, travel dates, and itinerary, in coordination with the winner.

   2. The winner will also be required to create a collaborative Reel featuring a food rescue experience with Yindii in Seoul, South Korea.

2. Content Ownership & Usage Rights

   1. By participating in this campaign, participants grant Yindii a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual license to use, reproduce, repost, edit, and distribute submitted content (including videos, images, captions, and usernames) for marketing and promotional purposes.

   2. This includes, but is not limited to, usage on Yindii’s website, mobile app, social media channels, digital ads, PR materials, and newsletters.

   3. Yindii will make reasonable efforts to credit the original creator where applicable.

3. Participant Responsibilities

   1. All submitted content must be original and must not infringe on any third-party rights.

   2. Participants are responsible for obtaining consent from any individuals appearing in their content.

   3. Content must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or misleading material.

4. Disqualification

   1. Yindii reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

      1. Submits incomplete or non-compliant entries

      2. Engages in fraudulent, misleading, or unethical behavior

      3. Violates Instagram’s guidelines or applicable laws

5. General Conditions

   1. Yindii reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the campaign at any time without prior notice.

   2. Yindii is not responsible for technical issues, delays, or lost entries.

   3. Participation in the campaign constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
