About Yindii

Yindii is a trailblazing social enterprise dedicated to combating food waste and climate change. Since its creation in 2020, Yindii has rapidly grown to become the largest marketplace for surplus food in Asia. With a staggering 1 million food heroes and thousands of partner stores spanning 4 regions, Yindii is making a tangible impact on food waste reduction and environmental sustainability.

The journey began when Louis-Alban volunteered at a food bank in Bangkok. Shocked by the sheer volume of food going to waste, he envisioned a platform that would connect consumers with businesses to save unsold food. This vision gave birth to Yindii, a platform that has since rescued over 1.2 million meals saved and prevented the emission of 2,900 tons of CO2.

Win-Win-Win

Yindii's model is beautifully simple yet profoundly impactful. It creates a win-win-win scenario for people, profit, and the planet:

People

Consumers get access to high-quality food at unbeatable prices. Over 1 million meals saved till date by our community.

Planet

We prevented the emission of 2,500 tons of CO2, equivalent of 442 million smartphone recharges!

Profit

Partnering businesses generate revenue from surplus goods that would otherwise go to waste. $US 4.2M sunk costs recovered by our merchants.

Yindii Team

Dedication. Expertise. Passion.

At Yindii, we are a collection of tech innovators, F&B veterans, and sustainability champions united by a singular, audacious goal: erasing food waste across Asia. Our culture is built on a "Win-Win-Win" philosophy—we believe that solving the planet's biggest climate challenges should also make absolute commercial sense for businesses and everyday consumers.

We operate with the fast-paced agility of a hyper-growth tech startup, but our heart belongs to the community. From our boardroom strategists to our local operations teams in Bangkok, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Seoul, every single member of the Yindii family shares a gritty, entrepreneurial spirit and a deep personal commitment to the circular economy. We don't just build marketplace infrastructure; we are building a more sustainable future—one delicious, rescued meal at a time.
