🍍A Fresh New Way to Save Fruits — and the Planet!

Have you ever wondered what happens to fruits and veggies that aren’t sold in time? Most of the time, they’re thrown away. Even though they’re still perfectly good to eat. 😢

At Yindii, we believe edible fruits and veggies should never go to waste. That’s why we’re launching our new campaign: “Rescue, Rethink, Reward”. Together, we can reduce food waste, unlock creativity in the kitchen, and celebrate the delicious potential of every fruit and vegetable.

🛍️ Step 1: Rescue

Every day, fruit and vegetable stores are left with ripe fruits and vegetables that don’t get sold. They may be a little overripe, oddly shaped, or nearing the end of their shelf life, but they’re still full of flavor and nutrients.

Yindii works with these stores to pack Surprise Grocery Boxes filled with these rescued goodies — often at 50% off or more. By choosing to rescue them, you’re preventing unnecessary waste and making a real impact with every purchase.

This is where the magic happens. We’re inviting you to rethink what surplus food can become.

Don’t toss those extra-ripe bananas, turn them into banana bread.

Got soft tomatoes? Make pasta sauce.

Wilted spinach? Perfect for a smoothie.

Rethink means re-creating and reimagining meals with what you have. We believe that surplus food isn’t a problem; it’s an opportunity. And you’re the chef who gives it a second life.

The #YindiiMenu campaign is valid from 1 Jul 2025 till 31 Jul 2025. All posts must be shared within this period.
The 3 most creative ideas will be rewarded with 5 Food Vouchers worth SG$50 by 4 Aug 2025.
